Dr Hussain previously worked in Beaudesert as a rural GP for many years. He has extensive experience in skin cancer detection and treatment which he started during his time at a skin clinic in Beaudesert. He also sees patients for all other medical issues, and is happy to discuss and prescribe medical marijuana as an alternate treatment for chronic pain, anxiety or other conditions, if indicated. Dr Hussain — or "Dr Basha" as his regular patients call him — is known for his approachable and easy-going manner and his sense of humour.

Dr Ali Gilani completed his studies at the University of Queensland and went on to work at Princess Alexandra Hospital, QEII Hospital, and Logan Hospital across specialities including Respiratory, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, ENT, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He has a special interest in ear and hearing conditions and is able to perform ear microsuction. He is a highly experienced skin cancer doctor, and is accredited with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He regularly performs full body skin checks and complex skin cancer treatment. Before embarking on her medical career, Dr Ghazal worked as a pharmacist after completing a pharmacy degree at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, graduating with honours. She then pursued medicine at Monash University, Melbourne, where she also graduated with honours and developed a strong passion for women's health, paediatrics, and dermatology — particularly managing eczema in children. Dr Ghazal is also a practising skin cancer doctor and offers skin checks and biopsies for patients of all ages. She is deeply interested in mental health and strives to provide compassionate, holistic care to her patients. She offers Mirena insertion and removal for female patients managing difficult pelvic bleeding and for contraception.

Dr Ruha Khan sees all variety of patients. She has a special interest in women's and paediatric health care. Please note: Dr Khan does not offer full body skin checks.

Dr. Abdullah Al Ramadhani is an experienced GP with an extensive background in hospital medicine — both general and rural medicine throughout Queensland. He worked for 4 years at Logan Hospital and 1 year at Redland Hospital across cardiology, rehabilitation medicine, infectious diseases, acute medicine and general medicine. He also spent over 6 years at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital working across haematology, cardiology, gastroenterology, medical oncology, nephrology, respiratory medicine and general medicine. In addition to his hospital experience, Dr. Al Ramadhani worked for 3 years as a rural GP in Kooralbyn and currently works within an ATSI health clinic setting. His skills are second to none in managing complex chronic conditions including heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, lung disease and caring for patients undergoing cancer treatment. He enjoys providing thorough, compassionate and evidence-based care to patients from all walks of life. Outside of medicine, Dr. Al Ramadhani is a family man and father of three children.

Dr Jo brings years of experience caring for patients from all walks of life. She graduated from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore and has worked across cardiology, respiratory, neurology, general surgery and ENT in metro hospitals in Melbourne and rural Victoria. She was involved in teaching at Monash University Faculty of Medicine for 5 years. Dr Jo has a special interest in women's health, offering pregnancy care, contraceptive advice, and Implanon insertion/removal, as well as chronic disease management. Please note: Dr Jo is currently not accepting new chronic pain management patients.

Dr James Jin is a GP Registrar who completed his medical training in Auckland, New Zealand. Before transitioning into General Practice, James spent several years working as a Surgical Registrar, bringing a strong procedural foundation and hands-on clinical experience to his practice. He also completed a PhD in Surgery and has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, reflecting a deep commitment to evidence-based medicine. James has a particular interest in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancers, as well as all minor surgical procedures — areas where his surgical background gives him a distinct advantage in delivering confident, precise care. James enjoys all aspects of General Practice and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. He takes the time to listen to his patients, understand their concerns, and work collaboratively with them to achieve their health goals. Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his two young children at the beach or pool and tackling DIY projects around the house. Dr Jin will be joining Browns Plains Medical Centre & Skin Cancer Clinic from July 2026 and is now accepting new patients. We warmly welcome him to our team.
